My name is Jorge Orlando Cedillo TelloJorge Orlando Cedillo Tello, I was born in Ecuador, and I grew up in Cuenca, the most organized city in Ecuador, my parents Alicia and Jorge, they were both primary school teachers. Unfortunately, they passed away. My dad had a huge collection of books it looked like a library at home; this made me develop a taste for reading from an early age, I have a sister she worked as a primary school teacher too, and now we have been living together with my nephew in Queens, I consider two persons as my brothers in Ecuador, one of this is a person who raised me since I was a child and the other person is my nephew's father.
I graduated as a System Engineer from College. I had the opportunity to
travel to Argentina to take telecommunications classes, which led me to develop
an affinity for this branch of my profession. I have seventeen years of
experience as a system and networking technician in different companies in my
country.
I traveled to many countries in Latin America, and I saw that we all we
all share a lot of things in common that's the surprising thing about being
Latin American. I hope to travel to other continents.
I decided to move to New York City 6 years ago, here I have been having
a lot of experiences that I would never think I could do in many jobs as an
immigrant, but this allowed me to discover other skills.
Hobbies
One of my hobbies is exercise. I used to swim every week and can swim in
four styles. I used to do my workouts in the gym, but I have stopped these
activities because of personal issues. However, I hope to return to my routine
step by step. I like to watch movies in specially cult movies such as
"Seven", "American History X", etc. My favorite kind of
music is Spanish Rock, but the music depends on the situation.
I enjoy having a beer in a pub, listening to music, or having a
conversation. I could be a better cook. Although, I like to cook the best
food I can made is "shrimp ceviche."
I've taken English lessons at "La Guardia Community College"
and "Hunter College". Now, I am returned to La Guardia, and I am
happy to improve my knowledge of English.
